The Tilt Flatbed Scanner is designed to ensure that a flatbed scanner is both intuitive to use and can also be quickly “stored” when not needed though it is never out of reach or stored out of sight. The design of the scanner is derived from foldable chairs, chests, trunks, foldable table lamps etc and thus it has been made in a form that is easy to access ad equally easy to put away.

The Tilt Flatbed Scanner is made to be stood in an upright form when not needed. This takes up a significantly small amount of space on the workstation and allows the scanner to be tucked neatly at the far corner of a workstation/table when not needed. When the user needs to use the scanner, they simply need to bring it down horizontally and star using. Since the device doesn’t need to be stored away, its cables and cord do not need to be kept reeled up though a cord reel allows users to easily and neatly wrap them up to conserve power and clear up the mess of wires on the workstation. The Tilt Flatbed Scanner can also connect to a computer wirelessly which means that it can also be stored or stationed away from the workstation without creating additional mess or requiring a lot of space on a table to be used.
